by the book and, even though it’s the gentlest therapy,
you will need to get permission from your vet.
> What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese word meaning ‘Univeral Life Force’.
It refers to a system of energy re-discovered in Japan at
the end of the 19th century by a Japanese theologian,
Dr. Mikao Usui – see photo below.
During Reiki treatment, energy is channelled through
the therapist and out through their hands to the recipient,
helping unblock areas of negative energy. This activates
the body’s natural ability to heal itself.
